The Mine Electrical Safety Conference (MESC) brings together government departments, consultants, suppliers and key industry decision makers within the electrical field to hear technical presentations on all matters relating to electrical safety within the mining industry.
The 2021 conference programme has been carried over from the 2020 conference. There will not be a call for presentations for the 2021 conference.Submissions are open for nominations to the 2021 Ken Innes Memorial Award.

Nominations are invited for the Ken Innes Memorial Award.
Ken Innes was a widely respected industry leader in his field and a past chairman of the Mine Electrical Safety Association. After his passing in May 2014 and, in celebration of his life and many achievements, his family established the Ken Innes Memorial Award for an outstanding electrical apprentice.
The award is open to a current electrical apprentice, or a new tradesman that has completed their apprenticeship since the last conference. The nominee needs to be currently working in the Queensland mining industry and display excellence in safety, academic and trade fields.
