Conference and Student registration inclusions were:

  • Attendance at all sessions for the duration of the forum
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as per the program
  • One ticket to the Welcome Reception
  • All printed conference materials

Single Day registration inclusions were:

  • Attendance to sessions of selected day registration
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the day selected
  • All printed conference materials
  • NOTE: No social function tickets are included in the day registration fees


Conference Dinner

Tickets to the ATRF Conference Dinner were available for purchase for attendees and their guests.

Conference Dinner Ticket: $150/person

Payment Policy

It is a condition of registration that full payment is received within invoice terms and fully paid prior to the commencement of the event. Non payment of a registration does not constitute a cancellation. Early Registrations: Payment is required to be made within invoice terms (7 days) from the early registration deadline of Friday 19 August. Any early registrations not paid by Friday 26 August will be automatically updated to a standard registration and an updated invoice will be provided to the attendee for payment.

Venue Entry Conditions / Event Vaccination Policy

By registering to attend this event, you confirm you will comply with any State Government mandate and the venue entry policy as it applies at the time of the event. We respect any individual’s health choice but we are required to comply with the Government requirement. Please be aware that, should you register and then not meet the Government mandate or venue entry policy (as it applies at the time of the event) you will be unable to be admitted to the event and no refunds will issued. Each attendee has a personal responsibility to understand the compliance needs prior to registering

Cancellation Policy - General

Cancellations must be advised to the conference office in writing. Charges will apply for cancellations:

  • Cancellations advised in writing by Friday 26 August will receive a refund of the registration fee, less an administrative charge of $150
  • Cancellations advised in writing from Saturday 27 August will not receive a refund. The registration can be transferred to a colleague

Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the Conference Organisers are advised in writing.

General Hotel Booking Terms and Conditions
  • Full payment and a credit card guarantee are required to confirm an accommodation booking
  • Provided credit card details will be passed onto the hotel
  • Cancellations or amendments made from Friday 26 August will incur a 100% cancellation fee
  • No shows will be charged a 100% cancellation fee

Cancellation Policy - COVID

  • Conference Postponement: In the event of a postponement all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new conference dates. All components of your registration including social function tickets and accommodation bookings will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Conference Organisers to obtain the relevant cancellation policy
  • Conference Cancellation: In the event of the cancellation of the conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full
  • Other COVID Related: In the event of other impacts due to the COVID pandemic, ATRF and the Organisers will, on a case by case basis, be as fair and reasonable as possible based on the circumstances involved. Requests should be emailed to the event email address

Privacy Policy

Absolute Events & Marketing on behalf of Australasian Transport Research Forum will collect and store information you provide in the booking process for the purposes of enabling us to: register your involvement at the event; assist with administrative and planning purposes; plan and develop ATRF conferences and other events in the future; facilitate your requirements in relation to the event; and allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the event. The information that you provide in your booking/registration and information provided at any other time during the event, including without limitation any feedback obtained during the event, will be used by the organisation to offer, provide and continue to improve its events and other services.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

Absolute Events & Marketing on behalf of Australasian Transport Research Forum may disclose some of the information that is collected in the booking process such as your position, organisation and its location and your email address to event sponsors, exhibitors and attendees. Absolute Events & Marketing on behalf of the Australasian Transport Research Forum will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose is related to the offer, provision and improvement of the event or where such purpose is permitted or required by law. Registrants may withhold consent for disclosure of their contact details by emailing before Friday 26 August.
