TAFE Queensland SkillsTech, Acacia Ridge campus offers a comprehensive range of trade related courses in automotive, building and construction, electrotechnology, engineering, manufacturing and design, resources and mining, transport, and utilities. New state-of-the-art facilities include an engineering and automotive precinct and electrical training facility, as well as new administration hub and student resource centre.

Led by key members of the SkillsTech team, this site visit will showcase innovations being undertaken at the campus, and is one site visit not to be missed.

Demonstrations and activities will include overall campus tours plus the following four specialised activities:

Located in the heart of Brisbane's arts and cultural precinct adjacent to art galleries, performing arts venues, a museum, and the State Library, the South Bank campus has easy access to the city, the beautiful South Bank Parklands, as well as plenty of cafes and restaurants.

The welcome reception will be a chance to catch up with those who you haven’t seen for some time, as well as make new connections. And we all know how important connections are within the TAFE sector!

A highlight of the Convention networking is the Convention Dinner. Held at the Hilton Brisbane, this is a time to relax and catch up with your colleagues within the TAFE and VET sector and with industry colleagues. It is also an opportunity for the achievements of TAFE students to be showcased.
