Margie Fixter

Ms Margie Fixter leads the Quality, Teaching and Learning Directorate at TAFE SA in the role of Executive Director. The role provides leadership in educational quality, teaching and learning practice, and ensures that teams meet quality and compliance frameworks.

Ms Fixter is an experienced senior VET practitioner and has had accountability for Educational delivery and quality within both the Victoria and NSW TAFE system. She has interest in how VET can support regional and remote students, how regional communities can engage with VET, inclusion of diverse groups, and how VET can assist in creating the workforce of the future. Margie has a Masters of Public Administration and Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science.
