Biography

Marina Costelloe is the immediate past President of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysics, the first Public Sector Leader to hold this office. Marina is passionate about STEM and diversity matters. Marina mentors many people in all stages of their career. Since joining Geoscience Australia about 14 years ago, she has worked in mineral exploration, groundwater, critical infrastructure, earthquakes, and contributed to international nuclear monitoring and space weather. Marina is the cluster representative for geology and geography on the board of Science and Technology Australia.
