Registration Information

Registrations (both in-person and virtual) are now closed. 

The Local Organising Committee was keen to hold a face-to-face event, however, to accommodate the possible impacts of further disruptions and limitations on movement and interstate travel, the Forum was held online as well.

**Note for presenters: All presenters were required to be registered in order to present a paper at the conference as advised during the call for papers process

  • Attendance to sessions of selected day registration

  • NOTE: No social function tickets are included in the day registration fees

Virtual registration inclusions were:

  • Virtual attendance at all sessions
  • It was recommended to use Chrome (version 7 or up) as the browser for the virtual platform

  • It was recommended to use Chrome (version 7 or up) as the browser for the virtual platform


Registration Terms and Conditions

Payment Policy

It is a condition of registration that full payment is received within invoice terms and fully paid prior to the commencement of the event. Non payment of a registration does not constitute a cancellation.

Early Registrations: Payment is required to be made within invoice terms (7 days) from the early registration deadline of Friday 19 November 2021. Any early registrations not paid by Saturday 20 November 2021 will be automatically updated to a standard registration and an updated invoice will be provided to the attendee for payment.

Cancellation Policy - General

Cancellations must be advised to the conference office in writing. Charges will apply for cancellations:

  • Cancellations advised in writing by Friday 19 November 2021 will receive a refund of the registration fee, less an administrative charge of $150
  • Cancellations advised in writing from Saturday 20 November 2021 will not receive a refund. The registration can be transferred to a colleague

Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the Conference Organisers are advised in writing.

Cancellation Policy - COVID

  • Conference Postponement: In the event of a postponement all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new conference dates. All components of your registration including networking event tickets will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Conference Organisers to obtain the relevant cancellation policy
  • Conference Cancellation: In the event of the cancellation of the conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full
  • State Borders Closed: In the event that the state borders (from your departing city to Queensland) are closed between 8 December 2021 to 10 December 2021, a full refund or transfer to virtual registration will be offered

Privacy Policy

Australasian Transport Research Forum (ATRF) will collect and store information you provide in the Registration Form for the purposes of enabling us to: register your attendance at the event; assist with administrative and planning purposes; plan and develop conferences and other events in the future; facilitate your requirements in relation to the event; and allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the event. The information that you provide in the Registration Form and information provided at any other time during the event, including without limitation any feedback obtained during the event, will be used by the organisation to offer, provide and continue to improve its events and other services.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

ATRF may disclose some of the information that is collected in the Registration Form such as your position, organisation and its location and your email address to event sponsors, exhibitors and attendees. ATRF will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose is related to the offer, provision and improvement of the event or where such purpose is permitted or required by law. Registrants may withhold consent for disclosure of their contact details by advising their selection in the online registration form or by emailing atrf@absoluteevents.com.au before Tuesday 30 November 2021.
