The QCOSS Conference is being held Tuesday 6 – Thursday 8 September 2022.
The QCOSS Conference is being held at Sofitel Brisbane Central, 249 Turbot Street, Brisbane, Qld 4000. Full information on the location and getting to the venue can be found here.
If you require specific access requirements, please notify the organisers by indicating your requirements on the registration form.

Registration includes access to conference sessions and exhibition, day catering and a ticket to the Welcome Reception.
Payment can be made by EFT / Bank Transfer or credit card (American Express, Mastercard or Visa). Please note a credit card surcharge is applicable to credit card payments.
Member rate is available for organisation and individual members.
Sharing of registrations will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Registrations will be accepted onsite, however as there is a venue capacity limit to comply with the COVID Safe Event plan, we encourage you to register early to ensure your space is secured. If registration capacity is reached prior to the start of the event, there will be no capacity to take onsite registrations.
Registration is confirmed when an online registration is submitted.
If you selected to pay by credit card, you will receive a registration confirmation email, which outlines your selected registration options and will have your tax invoice attached.
If you selected to pay by bank transfer, you will receive an email with your tax invoice attached which includes the bank details for payment. Once payment is received, you will receive your registration confirmation email.
If the need arises, cancellations must be advised to the QCOSS organisers via email. Charges will apply for cancellations:
No refunds will be offered for non-attendance at the conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable.
Registrations may be transferred to another employee in your company and requests for transfers of registration must be made to the QCOSS Conference organisers via email.
No, the conference will only be held as an in-person event. If restrictions affect the ability to have a fully in-person event, the conference organisers will advise all attendees the options for the QCOSS Conference.
All attendee registrations include a ticket to the Welcome Reception. Tickets are able to be purchased for the Conference Dinner.

State Borders Closed: In the event that the state borders (from your departing city to Queensland) are closed between 6 – 8 September 2022, a full refund will be offered. For any accommodation bookings booked through the Conference Organisers, they will contact the hotel and put in a request for cancellation, however, the cancellation fee will be at the discretion of the hotel.
Event Postponement: In the event of a postponement all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new conference dates. All components of your registration including function tickets and accommodation bookings will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Conference Organisers to obtain the relevant cancellation policy.
Event Cancellation: In the event of the cancellation of the QCOSS Conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
Other COVID Related: In the event of other impacts due to the COVID pandemic, QCOSS and the Organisers will, on a case-by-case basis, be as fair and reasonable as possible based on the circumstances involved. Requests should be emailed to the conference email address.
As a Queensland requirement, Sofitel Brisbane Central are using the Check In Qld app to help keep you COVID safe.

Name badges will be collected from the registration desk at the conference. Information will be provided in a pre-event email to all attendees. Name badges must be worn at all times and are not transferable at any time.
Smart casual attire is appropriate for the conference sessions and social functions. Business or cocktail attire is also appropriate for the Conference Dinner. Please be aware the session rooms are air conditioned so may become a bit cool.

Speaker presentations will be available post-conference and provided to all registered attendees. Please note that we must have the speaker's permission to provide their presentation.

QCOSS Conference has secured rooms at Sofitel Brisbane Central starting from $240. The conference rate is only available if booking with conference registration. To register, click here.
Accommodation rates do not include parking and parking is not able to be reserved via your conference registration. In house/conference guest car parking charge is $47.00 per vehicle, per day and valet car parking is available for a rate of $57.00 per vehicle, per day.

The exhibition will be open to registered conference attendees on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 September during the conference. Please check the conference programme for full timings.
