Electricity can be an unseen threat in the mining and quarry industry. Safety standards are very high in Australia. We are fortunate safety vigilance is a constant in this industry, it never ages or loses it’s relevance.
Now in its 36th year the Queensland Mine Electrical Safety Conference (MESC) continues to be the premier, most relevant and highly sought-after event tailored to mine electrical safety.
Year after year, attendees say it is their “must attend event of the year”.
Hosted by the Mine Electrical Safety Association (MESA), the conference is a great opportunity to learn and network with some of the most knowledgeable people in Australia on mining and quarry safety. It is also an opportunity for you to contribute to the direction of mine electrical safety within the industry.
MESC is the most significant mine electrical safety event and brings together a wide range of stakeholders such as industry workers, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and government regulators and departments. Key decision-makers are in the one place at the one time - this provides immense value to organisations wishing to gain exposure to these key markets.
The technical programme identifies areas of improvement and innovations for electrical safety, along with providing information and learnings to help improve safety and productivity.Mine Electrical Safety Conference Queensland recognise and acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which we are meeting - the Turrbal and Yuggera people. We pay our respects to their Elders - past, present and emerging, and the Elders from other communities who visit.
